In recent years the Sport of Kings has truly gone global in terms of the
quality of racing and the ability of the race horses that set foot on those
courses. From the World Cup night at Nad Al Sheba to the greatest turf race of
them all at Longchamp it is a safe bet that numerous countries will be
represented as jockeys and trainers from South Africa and South America compete
against horses from Hong Kong and Japan in a European setting.
The scope of this page is worldwide as we feature race tracks from South
Africa like Greyville and Kenilworth that host incredible handicaps like the
Durban July and the J&B Met; continental Europe with unforgettable courses like
Chantilly and Baden Baden; Hong Kong and the compact wonder of Sha Tin; and
Singapore with the one spot to watch horse racing there in Kranji. In between we
have also added race tracks from South America, Dubai, and everywhere else that
can boast of world-class horse racing action.
Many of these international racing centres are mysterious to the average
punter but no longer will that be the case as we explore these racetracks'
fascinating histories and provide all the necessary concrete inforamtion one
could wish for in the event that you plan to attend a race meeting in person.
Horse racing is an international sport but one can bet on those races from
