The Queen Elizabeth II Stakes is held annually in September in the UK at Ascot Racecourse over a distance of 1600m (8 furlongs). It is a Group 1 flat horse race open to 3-year-olds and above.

The race first took place in 1955 and currently offers 250,000 pounds in stakes money.

The race is held in honor of Queen Elizabeth II and attracts the best milers in Europe. It is a pivotal race for judging the merits of the three-year-old crop as they take on older horses.
