Cheltenham Racecourse is situated near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. It is often known as "home of National Hunt racing" due to the fact that it hosts the impressive 4 day Cheltenham Festival, annually in March.
The main racecourse consists of 2 separate courses next to each
other - the Old and New Course.

The New Course consists of a difficult downhill fence and longer run-in for steeplechases. Hurdle races take place over 3200 meters.
Cheltenham Racecourse also consists of a cross-country course that is laid out inside the main racecourse. This course is used for cross-country steeplechases. |
