The Gran Criterium is is an Italian flat horse race for thoroughbred two-year-olds. Both fillies and colts are eligible to enter.

The Gran Criterium is run over 1600 meters (about 1 mile) annually each October at the San Siro Racecourse in Milan. Ribot, Sirlad, Tony Bin, and Falbrav are exceptional horses that have raced at the San Siro racecourse in the past. Some of the world's best jockeys, Enrico Camici, Frankie Dettori and Mirko Demuro have all raced at San Siro.

San Siro racectrack is the only racecourse in the world that has the title of "national monument". It is a huge green belt - a real oasis just minutes away from the bustling Milan city centre. Milan is renowned for its prestigious horse races with their wide selection of courses. The San Siro Racecourse is amongst the world's most beautiful racecourses.
Since 1999 the magnificent bronze statue "Leonardo da Vinci's Horse" has been gracing the Milanese Racecourse. The statue was made by the American foundation using drawings made by Leonardo da Vinci himself.
