Free Horse Racing Tips For Quartet Maxipool Carryover
Author: Marc Weinberg
October 26 - The best value betting opportunity of the week in South African usually gets no media coverage whatsoever. That's typical of the SA horse racing industry, which has precious little idea how to promote itself. So here goes with the Quartet Maxipool Carryover Bet:
Basically the carryover going into the last race of the calendar week (Scottsville, Race 9 in this instance), should ensure a net pool of well over R1,500,000. Unlike the Pick 6, which is extremely difficult to catch and prohibitively expensive for many everyday punters, the Quartet is exceptional value. It is only one race after all, and due to the brilliant fractional % system on the local Tote, one can spend as little as R10 and have a chance at a good payday.
But I am here to rejoice in the fact that the Quartet carryover pool gets so little attention. It enables me to share my tips at no charge to my largely fictitious coterie of followers, safe in the knowledge that the payout dividend will still be very healthy.
So, without further ado let's break down Race 9, a typically moderate KZN maiden with a large field and hopefully proportionate quartet value.
RAILWAY BEST and HAIL THE KING hold the key to a decent payout. We need these two to finish in the first four. Then we need RASHAAD, the likely hope of the casual punter to go missing from that first four. Just in case he doesn't I also recommend a saver where we float all three horses with the field and take that a few times if your budget allows.
Bet 1: Double Float 5x11 with the FIELD ( R1320 for 1 full ticket).
Bet 2: Triple Float 5x11x13 with the FIELD ( R240 for 1 full ticket).
For every R1000 you have to spend on the race, budget as follows: Spend R528 on Bet 1 (50% of 1 ticket) and spend R472 on Bet 2 (nearly 2 full tickets).
