This is often the single best value bet to take in South African horse racing, and the obvious overlay opportunity is here again this time.

It's a very competitive race as there are at least 7 horses with form to win, which works in our favour if we can find two horses likely to run in the first four. The idea is to double float them with the field and hope we catch an upset winner.

I like to start with Computaform's take on the race, as their handicapping is solid. BULLARD is their top pick, but he comes from a smaller yard and this is a step up in class. MASSIMILIANO is their second choice, but he likes further one would think. BERMUDA WINTER is their third choice, and this consistent gelding is the perfect horse to include in the double float.

I am going to go with BULLARD and BERMUDA WINTER, double roving bankers with the field. The full cost of the bet is R1320.
