March 8 - With less than two weeks to go until the annual Dubai International Horse Fair (DIHF) anticipation is rising in the horse racing and riding communities.

The DIHF is held every year from 20 - 22 March at the International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Dubai. The patron of the horse fair is HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Deputy Ruler of Dubai and the Minister of Finance for the UAE.

World renowned manufacturers will be putting up grand displays and product launches for the entire Middle East during this time. Distributors and wholesalers will also be present, showcasing many international brands.

Mohamed Saleh, Production Manager from Highline Horse Accessories says "The Dubai International Horse Fair has become an important date in the calendar for local companies, and is a prime opportunity for groups like Highline Horse Accessories to network with new and existing customers from fields including showrooms, clubs and stables." Highline horse Accessories is one of the top distributors of saddle and tack products in the UAE and will have the most current racing gear, riding attire, saddelry and grooming kits on display.

Another significant exhibitor at the DIHF is Al Awani. Al Awani is a top regional company that has been supplying a complete assortment of top branded products to the equine industry for the past 23 years. Mr. Abdul Kareem Feroze, Finance Manager of the Al Awani group, said "Participating in DIHF is any exhibitor's dream and definitely a shopper's paradise."

Besides exhibitors of products and services, breeders and stud farms in the area are also attracted to the Dubai International Horse Fair in order to showcase regional breeding successes.

This event is set to run alongside the US$4 Million Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship which is a high profile contest for purebred Arabian horses.
