Dubai World Cup Meeting Free Tips! - 03-28-08

March 28 - We were on fire with our free horse racing tips for the Cheltenham Festival but don't think that our handicapping is confined to jump racing. Oh no, we've got Dubai World Cup free tips for the flat as well.

You will find tips for all six races for thoroughbreds that will take place at Nad Al Sheba tomorrow. It should be a fantastic night of horse racing culminating in the world's richest race, the Dubai World Cup for stakes of $6,000,000.

Without further ado here are our race previews:

13:40 Etisalat Godolphin Mile (group 2) (dirt) (4yo+, Class 1, 1m, 15 runners)

SELECTION: Diamond Stripes enters this race with the best credentials and we might get a decent price with fancied Godolphin runner Blackat Blackitten in the line up. Currently listed at 5/2 that seems very generous for a horse with a vaunted Breeders' Cup Classic formline like DIAMOND STRIPES.

14:15 Naboodah Uae Derby (group 2) (dirt) (3yo, Class 1, 1m 1f, 12 runners)

SELECTION: Mike de Kock dominates this race and should win it again this year, but which of his two runners will prove the best on the night? Murtagh is on Honour Devil but Royal Vintage and Shea could still have the most upside, and it would be just like the de Kock yard to win with the wrong 'un and make a little extra cash in the process (Kevin Shea involved in a betting coup? No way!) Take ROYAL VINTAGE to win here.

14:55 Gulf News Dubai Golden Shaheen (group 1) (dirt) (3yo+, Class 1, 6f, 15 runners)

SELECTION: The sprint race is typically dominated by the American horses, who are just plain better when it comes to six furlongs at breakneck pace on the dirt. Benny The Bull will be the deserving favourite and certainly could win it here, but our value bet preference is for another USA challenger the aptly named IDIOT PROOF. The horse is ultra-consistent and if we're lucky we could get 5/1 about his chances.

15:55 Dubai Duty Free (group 1) (3yo+, Class 1, 1m 1f, 16 runners)

SELECTION: At 50/1 we look for Jay Peg to run a big race and possibly hit the exotics board. Don't leave this one out. Herman Brown's other runner Linngari must have a chance to win, but it is impossible to look past LITERATO and Godolphin in this race. The current quoted betting is 4/1 about the grey, and if that is the case pile on here because he is a cut above the rest of the field.

16:40 Nakheel Dubai Sheema Classic (group 1) (4yo+, 1m 4f, 16 runners)

SELECTION: This is a competitive race and an ideal time for a longshot to swoop from the betting clouds and win big for us. Take QUIJANO, the German horse with very good form, who could start at 14/1 or better. If he has luck in running he could easily win it all on the night.

17:30 Emirates Airline Dubai World Cup (group 1) (dirt) (4yo+, Class 1, 1m 2f, 13 runners)

SELECTION: We end with the Curlin benefit race. It will be very tough to beat the favourite here if he runs anything like his best, and he has trained well in Dubai so there is no reason to predict anything but an easy win for the best horse in the world. Asiatic Boy is a much better horse on the dirt and should finish second, battling it out with Jalil for the minor money. Our only recommended bet here is an Exacta with Curlin to win and Asiatic Boy to come second.
