2011 World Thoroughbred Rankings Announced

January 10 - 2011 was a very poor year for true quality in American horse racing, and the World Thoroughbred Rankings confirm it.
Frankel was the unanimous choice as the best horse in the world last year. Black Caviar, the sprinting machine from Australia ranked second, despite only beating highly suspect local fields.
No American horse made it into the top 10, and only Drosselmeyer made it into the top 16.
